Higgy is an emerging artist who was born in Manchester, England in 2001. After getting her BA (Hons) in Fine Art and Illustration at the University of Worcester, they moved back to the North where they're still based today.

She specialises in both acrylic paintings and digital illustration, often depicting topics such as food, relationships, identity and the experience of being a lesbian. Their paintings blend bold colour palettes with intimate moments taken from the artists life and romantic relationship. Her illustrations, on the other hand, often depict endearing renditions of food, everyday objects, family and friends. While the two sides of Higgy's work are starkly different, they are both accurate representations of the artist's thoughts and feelings. Every now and again these sides will converge to create something extraordinary.
